Background
Anil read law at the prestigious University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and graduated in 2000.
He pursued his professional qualification as a barrister at the renowned Inns of Court School of Law in London and was subsequently called to the bar at the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, United Kingdom. He also holds a Graduate Diploma for Professional Legal Skills from City University, London which he obtained in 2003.
Anil is an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and continues to be a practising member of the Singapore Bar specialised in corporate, commercial disputes and landlord/tenant matters.
Before embarking on a career in law, Anil pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the esteemed University of London with his area of specialisation in finance and international trade.

Recent Notable Cases / Deals / Settlements
- February 2020 – Successfully negotiated with client’s step-son on severance of joint tenancy and purchase of step-son’s share in the property.
- August 2020 – Insolvency law – Acted for non-parties and successfully negotiated and resolved insolvency proceedings in favour of our clients.
- September 2020 – Landlord/Tenant Dispute – Successfully negotiated and mediated for a well-known global brand regarding issue of vacant possession; client avoided lengthy litigation, paid nothing, and saved at least $500,000.00.
- February 2021 – Shareholder Agreement – Acted for and protected one of the founder shareholders in a $100M merger and acquisition by a US-listed entity.
- March 2021 – Shareholder Agreement dispute – Successfully negotiated and mediated a deal where the client saved close to S$1M and fully acquired minority shares.
